The National Stock Exchange of India Limited, on October 22, 2026, has announced a mock trading session in the Capital Market segment on Saturday, October 24, 2026. The mock trading will be conducted in two sessions: Session 1 from the Primary Site and Session 2 from the Disaster Recovery (DR) Site. No new version release is planned for this mock trading session.
The Primary Site session will include the morning block deal window from 10:45 to 11:00, pre-open session from 11:00 to 11:10, special pre-open session for IPO and relisted securities until 11:45, and normal market trading from 11:15 to 12:30. T+0 trading will run from 11:15 to 12:00, with trade modification permitted until 12:10. The auction market will operate from 11:30 to 12:15, while the second block deal window will run from 12:00 to 12:15. The DR Site session will begin with pre-open at 13:15, followed by normal market trading from 13:30 to 14:30. The closing session will run from 14:50 to 15:00, and trade modification will end at 15:10. Live re-login will be available from 16:00 to 16:30. Members using the NNF interface must also note the upcoming discontinuation of the existing encryption mechanism using old interactive port 10827 from December 7, 2026, as referred to in Circular No. NSE/MSD/76883. NNF members are advised to migrate to either the new encryption mechanism with MD5 checksum removal using port 10831 or the new encryption mechanism with immediate acknowledgement of order-related messages using port 10833. Members should also follow the mock trading instructions, participation prerequisites, and DR Site switchover guidelines specified in the circular’s annexures.
